The Rotunda

This gorgeous old gem located in Oriental Parade in Wellington has been selected to create an exquisite experience that will include a bathhouse and day spa, restaurant and bar, and public access to the roof top. Preliminary works including earthquake strengthening and restoration of the site is scheduled to start in the new year. The landmark site was built in 1937, and has been closed since 2012 as it has required extensive strengthening and restoration work. The project is expected to be finished in 2027 to coincide with the 90th anniversary of the bathing pavilion opening.
